nilson_robiRobi Nilson holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and served as a Peace Corps environmental education volunteer in rural Nicaragua from 2012-2014.  These experiences, as well as having been raised in a timber dependent community of Washington State, encouraged her to pursue a master’s in public policy with an emphasis in environmental and international policy at OSU. Her essay project examines user desirability of improved wood-burning cook stoves in rural Guatemala. She is working with Hilary on the community reactions to extreme weather project.
